Alibaug is well connected to the major metropolises in Maharashtra and the country through road, rail and ferry. The two major near metropolises are Mumbai and Pune. utmost excursionists prefer to travel to Alibag from Mumbai via a boat from the Mandwa Jetty which takes about an hour to reach.
